What did I just finish? 

Sky on Fire by Emmy Laybourne

I really enjoyed this book and am enjoying this series overall so far! I only have book three left and I have heard great things so I am looking forward to reading book three soon but it will also be sad to finish up such a magnificent series! 

What I am currently reading?

Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn 

I was sent this free of charge to guest review on Novel Thoughts blog. It is the first book in a new contemporary series written by Katie Finn (also known as Morgan Matson). I love the colors on this cover, they are so vibrant! I have heard so many great things about this book so I am really looking forward to diving into this!

My name is Jacquelyn and I am an avid reader who loves YA and juvenile fiction books. You can usually find me reading, looking for new books, or updating my reading status on social media websites such as Goodreads and Twitter, and now this blog! 

I have tried blogging multiple times but I never liked the formats or sites so I thought I would try out BookLikes (which I think I will like). 

I thought for my first blog post I would tell you 10 random facts about me! 

1. I usually read 10-12 books a month on average. 

2. I own a dog (named Coconut) and a cat (named Queenie). I love them so much! 

3. My biggest fear is snakes. 

4. My favorite foods are tacos and ravioli. Eaten separately, of course. :)

5. I have a Goodreads group named Crazy For Young Adult Books and it has over 6,000 members! 

6. YA Contemporary is my favorite genre. 

7. Some of my favorite authors include David Levithan, Sarah Dessen, Veronica Roth, Suzanne Collins, Nina Lacour, and A.S. King.

8. I love using my local library and I am always getting piles of books out from there! 

9. I usually am very organized especially when it comes to anything book related.

10. I am super excited to start blogging and meet new bookish friends!
